[Jesuit correspondence collection, Manchu China / Pietro Canevari, Giulio Aleni, Antonio de Gouvea, Emperor Zhu Yujian]. [1645-1647?]

Manuscript of three unpublished Jesuit letters, originally written by members in Fujian province to the Provincial of the Province of the Phillipines in the first half of the year 1647, and one a letter written by the final Ming Emperor in 1645 and translated from the Chinese. These letters appear to have been copied in Manila by Spanish Jesuits sometime shortly after their receipt, likely to send to Europe.
